Still a long way to go but I am really happy with the way it is developing, just another few thousand bricks to add and the spectators to finish and then the boats and some seagulls need adding.
A great showcase for my work and a link to Gallery Sales, thank you Nicola at the Midweek Visiter for all her help and for giving me this opportunity to share Nuggleton.
Hi Lesley,
ReplyDeleteLove Nuggleton! read about you in the visiter today (my local paper). I have been 'learning' to draw and paint for 18 months now, I just did my first houses today inspired by you going to blog about my efforts later.
Your work is an inspiration, hope to get to view it one day.
Thank you Lynda..wow, I never thought I would be an inspiration to another artist. I have taught myself on a very big learning curve and I am still learning something new every day. I will look for your blog and I hope we get to meet one day, I am always on the book stall at the Churchtown Art Club annual exhibition held on Bank Holiday weekend at St Cuthbert's Church Hall in Churchtown.
ReplyDeleteI bet thats the Easter bank holiday? I am always on the Woof Beginnings stall all weekend at Stanley School just up the road (all three days). I did mention you on my blog and told a few local friends about you, so hopefully you have had some visits.
ReplyDeleteNo, it's the August Bank Holiday weekend, sorry...I didn't make that very clear did I, lol. Thank you for sharing my art with your friends, that is kind. If I get chance to visit the Woof Beginnings stall, I will come and say hello xx
ReplyDeleteLOL, yes that one too!! We do the stall Easter bank holiday and August. If you get a chance to visit the game and country fair (bring wellies) and certainly do come and say 'hi' I'll let you win on the tombola:)
